Mikey the Frog

We are learning how to write a ballad. A ballad is a poem with a special rhyming pattern. The rhyming pattern on this ballad is ABCB. This means that the second and the fourth line rhyme with each other. There should be four lines in each stanza, or paragraph. This ballad was about Mikey the frog.  I enjoyed writing this ballad.

Landing a job

I was in a play called Landing A Job. It was about a parrot who doesn't like working for the Pirate Chief. We were learning to speak out to the audience on stage. I had to speak nice and loud. I had to act like a pirate. Or a parrot or a seagull there like birds who lives in the sea. I want to act like a pirate chief. Pirates can hunt for treasure. Treasure is a shiny peace of gold coins. If they found gold treasure they are rich.
