For maths week, we have been learning about measurement. Yesterday we talked about volume. We learnt that to work out the volume of a shape you use length x width x height. Our challenge was to work in pairs and use the unlink cubes to make as many different creations as we could, with a volume of 8
I found it easy to stack the cubes into a tower
I found it hard to wright it
Next time I need to work on is making more creations.

Good work on your exhibit Brandon! I know you found volume a very tricky concept to understand but you persevered and did what you could. You now have a better understanding of height, width and length, this along with practicing your timetables will help you learn about volume in the future. Ka pai mahi!
